The Student Recruitment and Admissions (SRA) Office collaborated with Faculty and Staff to participate in the Ontario Universities' Fair (OUF) September 27-29, 2019 - the largest post-secondary event in Canada. With representation from multiple program areas, prospective students, teachers and stakeholders were able to learn about programs, student opportunities, etc. The call to action was to invite leads to UTM's fall and spring open houses where they could engage in depth conversations with UTM community members and tour the campus and facilities.

Implement recommended changes to recruitment and marketing practices.This item supports sub-objective B1First Year Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM)
The Student Recruitment and Admissions (SRA) Office initiated inaugural First Year Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) sessions with Faculty and Staff. The goal of these sessions was to foster collaborations and to enhance and innovate online programming at prospective student and applicant events. Through these sessions Faculty also provided SRA with program examples of key value proposition points (research, faculty/student accolades, experiential learning examples) to competitively position UTM to students, families and external stakeholders as a post-secondary destination of choice. Communication vehicles included social and digital channels, the viewbook and in Canadian and international recruitment presentations.
